Annual Convention

The 2010 Annual Convention will be held at Camp Caroline on March 26-28.
Once again, it will be a family-friendly affair, so plan to come and bring the whole family!
Remember to bring your own bedding and towels.

Workshops:

    1. Focus on the Family "Truth Project" Information
         Conference Minister Mal Braun
     2. Children's Ministry
          Marlene Adrian, Child Evangelism Fellowship
     3.  Effective Risk Management for Church Leadership
          Don Reddekopp, Max Insurance.
           Includes insurance information on Church property, church liability and special liability(such as abuse coverage).

Youth Activities:

Activities for youth will be led by Jason Metcalfe.
Jason was an Associate Pastor for 4 years working with youth in Asquith, Saskatchewan until 2009. He presently lives in Carstairs, Alberta building homes where he and his wife Charity and their 3 children attend West Zion Mennonite Church. He loves youth and loves music and teaching. He graduated from Peace River Bible Institute with a Pastoral major and a Minor in Youth. He is friendly and enthusiastic and is looking forward to meeting our Conference Youth.

Children's Activities:

Andrea Suderman, also of West Zion Church, will be leading activities for children aged 3 to 12. Andrea grew up in New Zealand and moved to Vernon, B.C. as an adult, where she met her husband, Scott. Andrea has been trained as a teacher and is well-loved by children. Her many interests include quilting, sewing, jogging, cooking, sports.
Children should come equipped with swimsuits and gym shoes.
For children under 3 there is a nursery during the Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday morning services.
